Star City Parade

Yesterday, Isaac and I went to the Star City Parade. This was our first time experiencing the parade, though for many of our friends it is an annual holiday must. There were many different parade entries but Elmo was Isaac's favorite. He also enjoyed Cookie Monster and the clown fish and loved all of the bands especially the University of Nebraska Marching Band. They played the fight song right in front of us. His eyes were like saucers as he watched them go by. It was about 28 degrees or so and towards the end of the parade, he told me his hands were starting to hurt. But, he didn't want to leave before he got to see Santa. So, we stayed till the end and then hurried to the car. Isaac had fun and I think we will try to go again next year. I will post some layouts about it as soon as I get them done! H

Hello from Nebraska

I just want to say hello. I was finally able to figure out how to get this whole blog thing up and running and I am anxious to share more but that will have to wait. This is my very first post ever on a blog and I excited to be starting this. I hope this will provide a way for our friends and family to keep in touch with us as well as for me to share photos of our growing son. So hello and good night. I will catch up tomorrow. H
